a decent stay, some issues

helpful staffsoaking bathtubgreat breakfastinoperable windowloud air conditioningloud music
All the staff were helpful. they gave great recommendations for restaurants! our room met my needs, and i liked the soaking bathtub. breakfast at orange artichoke was a delight. It really set a high bar.
the windows in my room did not open. this was a big negative! the hotel provided air conditioning, but it was too loud to have on at night. the room became far too hot. our stay wasn't what we expected because loud music continued until 11 pm.

central locationdrain smellreception negligence
the hotel location was central, acceptable.
i found a couple of issues. the shower, when turned on, made the whole bathroom smell like drains, almost making me sick. i complained before dinner, but nothing changed because the smell was present again in the morning, so i informed reception again (i doubt they cared).
